Children Around the World

Dear Students,

You researched the lifestyle of a child from a different country and now I want you to share an interesting fact that compares your lifestyle to theirs. In your post, tell me what country the child is from and include the fact and how it is different from your lifestyle.

I look forward to reading your posts.
Happy Blogging,
Mrs. Altendahl

  2. Dear Mrs.Altendahl,
In Italy which is where my great grandma grew up, after school Italian kids go to the piazza or to a park with their friends. At the end of the day we play outside.(In Italy this is how you spell piazza)

In Poland after nine years of elementary shcool they get to choose if they want to go to a three year high shcool or a two year vocational shcool for specialized job training. In our country you don't get to chose if you want to go to high school or not.

  8. DEAR,MRS ALTENDAHL,

In norway christmas is the favorite holiday. On Christmas Eve (julaften) bells ring and families gather to share a big meal, sing around the Christmas Tree, and give gifts. But in North America, we give gifts out to family.
